TUATAHI INTERMEDIATE EPEE COMPETITIONS

Fun epee competition for fencers aged 10 years old to adults.

Aimed at those with 3 months + experience up to starting to compete regionally - talk to your coach, or contact us for questions.

ALL THE IMPORTANT DETAILS:

9am : doors open - please be there to help set up and to warm up

9.30am: Competitors to be present for  for roll call and gear check.

 

10am: expected start of fencing first poule round

around 2.30pm: pack up and prizegiving for all!

(we are NOT checking weights or gauges).

​

All equipment and clothing to be in good condition, with no holes. 

(Speak to your coach about borrowing gear for the day).

You will need to bring:

• working epee and bodywire

• 350N mask 

• chest protector (compulsory for females, optional for males)

• 350N plastron

• 350N jacket

• breeches and long socks, or long pants

• glove

• water bottle and snacks!

 

2 rounds of poules sorted by age/ability followed by Trophy Matches for top two fencers in each poule.

Prizegiving - certificates and chocolate for all!
